Lamington National Park
LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK – I went on a day trip to the O’Reilly’s (http://www.oreillys.com.au/content/v2_home.asp?name=Home). O’Reilly’s plateau is a touristic hotspot two hours drive from Brisbane.
The winding Lamington National Park Road has some spectacular sights. At the O’Reilly’s there is a guest house and you can go for a tree top walk or visit the botanical garden.
The day trip from Brisbane stopped at a winery with a platypus and a haunted house (http://www.canungravineyards.com.au/content/home.asp?name=Home) and Mount Tamborine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamborine_National_Park).
